4AD Sessions

Launching with the Deerhunter audio session at the Studio Plateaux on Platt’s Eyott island, London in 2008, the 4AD Sessions have since grown in to an ongoing series of video recordings for acts across the 4AD roster.

Performing in intimate, unusual settings and with the utmost care and attention given to capturing extraordinary sound and video, highlights so far have included an award-winning, stripped back piano session with Bon Iver, both Future Islands and Daughter reworking their music to include string sections, Efterklang and Stornoway playing in the round, and the exciting moment when the world finally clocked St. Vincent could really play guitar.
